Access Courses

Hi peeps,

Can you do an access course at college part time? i.e. in the evening or do they have to be full time only?

Especially interested in the IT access courses...

I know full time doesnt mean 40hrs plus but still wondered if it was available just 2 nights in the evenings?

Hey,

My girlfriend has been doing access to healthcare two evenings a week part time, or you can do it for a year full time. As they are for mature students trying to prepare for higher education i would imagine you can do most if not all, part-time.

Call the admissions office of your local college and ask, easy

her access course, is that for 1 year or 2 years?

It will depend on the course whether you can do it in the evenings or not. Afaik, most access courses can be done P/T but a fair amount of them will be in the day. If it is a heavily subscribed course it will have a higher chance of having an evening option.
