Access denied whilst trying to install hardware?

Hi all,

As per the thread title, I can't get a Graphics card to install on my Dads PC (XP Home),The device is found, but the install fails with "An error occured during the installation of this device - Access is denied"

I thought I'd ask in the Windows forum as I've been told that I have a windows related issue rather than a specific Graphics card issue.

I'm putting my faith in the Oc/Uk Windows Guru's to help me out with this one - my Dads getting pretty fed up of his now very slow moving desktop etc.
