Can you help?

I'm trying to export outlook contacts to access which I can do. Basically its to migrate all the contacts from outlook to a new database we are using that uses Access.

I have the softwares database open and also the database created by exporting the outlook contacts but the fields are obviously different.

What I want to do is to basically paste the fields I have from the outlook export into the fields of the new database in the easiest possible way.

You could export the list to a .csv file and then import to Access. IIRC you are given the choice whether to use the column headers as fields or not.

As above, or if that fails, you can go the complex route and use DAO/VBA
