well i was basically just looking through the local paper and noticed one up for sale but it was the 2l vtec not the type r. as the insruance is a staggering £20 difference between the 2 i think the type r has to be on the buy list!

have you owned both skywalker??
 
Have driven the accord 2.0 sport and own the type R , The wife has a type R accord aswell which I am thinking of selling to get a 7 seater I think as we need a bigger car

If your on the accord type r owners website you get discounted insurance through sky aswell

And the no torque comment always gets me , If you want to tow a caravan then buy a 5 series , If you want a bit of fun with 5 doors buy an accord type r

In gear acceleration looked OK in the ITR, despite the lack of torque. I suppose it is because of the close-gear gearbox. It did a better job compared to the PH1 172.

:p I really want an Accord Type R as my next car (in red... mmmmm). They look like seriously good value and look like they give plenty of enjoyment.

After the Accord Type R i really want an Integra Type R (red again with white alloys...mmmmm).

lol thats my car future mapped out for the next 5-6 years :D

Shes a little marked round the edges and few little things else where but when we got it we got it with the intention of taking our time getting her right but the main thing was the engine is sweet as a nut:). But with everything at the moment I think a 7 seater is more of a better option
