Don't forget the Cinema Display is I-IPS certified, and some of these mentioned aren't, hence the substantially less price tags.
Excuse my carp knowledge - what does that stand for!?

They're calibrated to a standard, rather than any old "out of the box" settings.
I've only managed to play with it for about 2 hours, but the good news is that my peripherals arrived todayAh! S-IPS - noted the cheeky edit there!I didnt know that!

Only thing that could make it sweeter would be if I had a ******* laser beam attached to my head.
It's a Pro monitor and comes with a tilt stand. Look around, everything else in that price range comes with a hefty height adjustable stand and will pivot into portrait. Maybe poor was the wrong word (it's certainly not badly made), more like featureless.I've got a 20" ACD and the input is a bit **** if you intend on plugging other things into it, but as a monitor it's fine and there isn't anything wrong with the stand?![]()
Just bought a 20" ACD from a mate for £150! Bloody nice monitor! Will go lovely with my MBP![]()
Holy thread revival batman!
