So this seems to be the first IPS panel with a 40-144hz freesync range, but nobody is speaking about it. Am I missing something?

Couldn't agree more, seeing the thread about this monitor on overclock.net and the £1k acer ultrawides here has been dissapointing.

It's a shame because this seems just the monitor I've been holding out for, I'd be more than willing to spend money on one if they could promise me a panel that wasn't messed up.

Does anyone know realistically when QC on these panels will increase? The risk of spending £500 on a dud just seems too high right now.

Might be an idea for OcUK to offer the option to QC the monitor for you before they ship it, would save everyone a lot of time.
