If it helps, I had an AOC AGON 32" VA which flickered when using freesync with my 1080 Ti but not with a 1060.

I now have a Dell S2719DGF which doesn't flicker at all in freesync mode, even in game menus which can even cause flicker in G-Sync monitors.

My 34GK950F is Freesync and works perfect with nVidia Freesync BUT do your research and make sure that whatever you get does so as well. Not worth risking a poor implementation.

Just bought the 1440p FreeSync version (XZ321QU), looking forward to it

Will feed back how well the FreeSync actually works when it arrives
