ACHI problems

Hey,


I've recently brought an SSD and installed it but I forgot to enable ACHI before installing my windows. Do I have to enable the ACHI before a windows install?

I did try enable this feature but windows failed to start. I'd like to confirm whether I need to do it before a fresh install of windows?

You can do a reg tweak to get it working. It's probably best to reinstall with ACHI on though, seeing as it is a new install anyway

Google has a quite a few guides to do this. Id do the latter tbh

Ahh cheers mate. I'll do that then Sunday night when I've got time. I didn't realised that you had to do them things. You learn something new everyday!
