ive got a pair of z-2300's and i really like them, mainly because im into bassy music. my mate had the aego's and without doubt they are better in music quality but do lack bass a litte however, there is more substantial mid-tone, unlike the z-2300's, so you can actually hear the lyrics properly lol

games are pretty much the same on both speakers (any quality set of speakers sound good with the x-fi)

movies i would be tempted to say the z-2300 yet im bound to be biased, its just the sound sounded (

) more filling.

id go for the aego's unless you plan on waking up your neighbours with the z-2300's if you put it even on low volume (their stupidly loud).
