Dear Google - what is the definition of Whoooooooooooooooooooooosh?

No definitions were found for Whoooooooooooooooooooooosh.

I thought I'd give it a go but I don't think I've really helped at all. I tried, and I suppose that's what counts.

Edit: As suggested by others, the acoustic version of Swing Life Away by Rise Against is good. Try and get hold of the "Punk Goes Acoustic" Album, legally, of course.

Wrong button apparently, if the moderators could kindly clear up my mess then I'd appreciate it.

Glad others like Rise Against - Swing Life Away, cracking song.

It was on repeat for most of the summer after i was reminded of the track. Someone made a montage of clips from Reading Festival and it had the song as the soundtrack.

The "I've got some friends, some that i hardly know, and we've had some times, i wouldn't change for the world" line, just fitted the whole festival experience so well that i became addicted to the song after :p

Everlone by the Foo Fighters goes onto acoustic brilliantly, and it's also pretty simple to play. Unintended by Muse, considerably less hard than you'd think. American English by Idlewild...

But I really like Black by Pearl Jam. Not really written for acoustic, but it works stunningly well, and again, very simple. It's just E A, some sort of A variant... Then C Em C Em D C Em. That was my big campfire hit at Reading this year :)

All Carter USM with a proper guitar part works well on acoustic too- Turn On, Tune In, Switch off is great.

Incubus - Stellar
Damien Rice - Coconut Skins
Damien Rice - Elephant
The Kooks - Ooh La
David Gray - Sail Away
REM - Losing My Religion

Everlast - What it's like.
Damien Rice - Lonelilly, Woman like a Man, and others on his first EP (Also on B-sides).
John Butler Trio - Pick-a-part (heard some good and bad versions of this song though).
Eels - Daisies of the Galaxy (Oh what a beautiful morning album).
Tom McRae - A&B song
Rodrigo Y Gabriela - Tamacun

Just a few that I like off the top of my head. Might not be to your personal taste although I like the bands you mentioned (other than the Kooks because they were starting to get on my t***). Damn radio at work!
