Acrobat reader on memory stick?

I have a work laptop that has all our company manuals as .pdf files but only has a very outdated version of the reader on it.

Almost all privileges have been disabled so I can't install a newer version on the laptop itself.

Could I install the latest version onto my USB memory stick and use that or does it require all sorts of .dll files etc to work properly?

Cheers.

Foxit Reader

It's a standalone executable so it'll work fine off a memory stick, and IMO it is way better than Acrobat Reader (loads almost instantly) that I use it on my PC in place of it :)
This guy speaks the truth. Adobe installs loads of stuff not needed in my opinion, especially when Foxit does the same job with PDFs but with no bloatware etc installed.

Foxit is lean mean and ready to kick arse! Makes Adobe Acrobat look like crap [well, it is crap!].

Foxit for the win!

Cheers for the replies - no admin account that we're allowed anywhere near and many a slapped wrist when we send the laptops back for their far-too-regular repairs if they've been "fiddled with"

I'll give foxit a try - cheers for the suggestions.
