Never had a problem with Acronis True Image apart from recently when it didn't recognise a NVMe drive, I was using version 2014 so updated to 2017 and all was well . . .
All that's involved is selecting a source target and a destination target and the software takes care of the rest. I think I've always used automatic mode but there is also a manual option should the geek be strong.
Just make sure you don't have a brain fart and mix up source with destination!
Acronis TI 2016 upwards has full support for PCIe SSD's. I regularly back up my SM951 (via Acronis TI 2016) and had to recently recover it from a backup (virus / infection) and all went well.
I've only used Acronis the past several years so not sure if it is missing any cool features offered by different software. Is it missing anything feature wise?
