Action Blockbusters from the 80's & 90's?

Thinking about watching some golden oldies but I can't think off any off the top of my head! I've seen the obvious ones like Die Hard etc., i'm more after the likes of Last Boy Scout and any others I might have missed.

Recommend me some good films please people!

Seen it though, about 50 times!

I'm basically after the more lesser knows movies that are still amazing i.e Last Boy Scout and the like.

You already mention Die Hard...Predator and Aliens are probably my two all time fave films but i'd imagine you will have seen them too

It might be worth looking through the filmographies of the big names of the times and finding some you may have missed. Stuff like Red Heat, Raw Deal, Cobra, Assassins, Tango & Cash, Hudson Hawk (so bad it's good

).

Luc Besson's action films are usually pretty good like Nikita, Leon, 5th Element. His more recent stuff like the Transporter films are also pretty mindless action films if you don't mind them being more modern... In fact quite a lot of films with Statham in are like that.
