Sometimes the search results are a giant 'muddle'. That is why people ask direct. I don't mind answering a question if need be. Sometimes people who say you should do a search are the 'lazy' ones who can't be bothered to give an answer.

People who fail to search, or learn to search properly (the OP actually said he searched but couldn't find the answer which I find incredible) will never learn then, will they.

Normally when you are new on a forum, you give the established posters a bit of respect and defer to them - maybe that's something you could learn from all of this

We don't want to see the forum cluttered with dozens of threads all asking the same thing... can you understand that?

So, your head is expanding then by the look of it? I have been on plenty of forums and know the score. I am more than willing to help people out without being offensive like you. All you had to do was give a link or give the answer. No need to be complete idiot all the time!

People will always ask the same questions all the time. I can see now that you just love to be offensive and unhelpfull.

You need to take a deep breath and try and be a bit more helpfull and stop whinging about people not using the search facility. Grow up comes to mind mate.

And I repeat for those who seem to have difficulty grasping basic concepts... it's not "boredom" at seeing them, it's frustration at seeing the exact same thing posted day after day when a small forum search will yield the answer in about 30 seconds... it's the reaction same at almost any forum you go to so me saying "search" is certianly nothing new or unusual... at this forum or any other. Why do you think the "99% of all Vista quesitons answered here" thread was made? Yup, to cut down on the endless vista threads all asking the same question. I rest my case.

What do you keep going on about google for? I never mentioned, Google, i'm talking about searching this forum! And for the record, there's not that many questions that require a search... just ones that fall under the "blindingly obvious, been answered 1'000 times this week" category.

It's not just mine dude, I just happened to be the one who posted about it in this particular thread. I think you'll find my reaction is reasonably common in threads of this nature of late.

Well maybe it needs to be kept in context, I think we can say that my 'frustration' here probably translates into "very mild annoyance" in the real-world.

HAHAHAHAHA you do make me laugh!

Now im not referring to anyone in here but it seems that this forum is attracting a lot of new people, the majority it seems are very opinionated and like to stir up trouble. There is never any respect shown and whenever i have trouble with one of them or i see someone else having trouble i always want to tell them to show more respect to the oldies here.

On Topic: Yeah, wait until your PC is running smooth with it, my friend made this mistake with XP, it turned out after he activated it that it had issues with his mobo.

Yes but you need to understand that new people are new to this. Some of them don't even realise that there is a search facility on the forums.

Remember, a question may seem "blindingly obvious" to you, but not to everybody else.

As for lots of threads on the same subject - this is actually a good thing, since if you do a search on a subject, you'll get more results. Depends on the keywords used.

I don't mind answering questions, but after you've answered the SAME question 10 times in 10 different threads, it gets a little tedious.

I'll even suggest keywords, but it just clutters up the forums having the same thread every day or so.

Best thing to do is don't write anything in the thread then. If you are cheesed off from seeing the same questions all the time just don't click on the link!
