hey all

built a new pc for work yesterday, installed oem windows, activated it, installed drivers.

rebooted later on now all of a sudden it says i gotta activate again, so I do, then it says invalid key

spoken to ms on phone, they say they wont give me a new key, as im not an authorised builder!

w t f
 
You could ring up the automated hotline (get the number from the Windows Activation annoying thingy) then answer the questions to say that you have that license of windows on 1 PC, no hardware changes, was just a re-install then they will give you a key. (Note: I am giving true answers based on what you said. Although I do not condone bending the truth I also do not condone the acts of Big Brother)
 
thanks for the suggestion mate, had a go at the activation person and he give me another number.

spoke to someone there, said shes coming back in 15mins, but said she would definitely sort it, woohoo :D
