Is there a way to sync like the old days using an Android or even iPhone?

I have a client who has a pop account within Outlook and was using a Windows 6.5 Mobile device until today he thought he would give the iPhone a try and of course it doesn't do what Active Sync does?

Any suggestions? I just checked on my Android and I cannot keep a sync between my Android and Outlook emails via a USB sync!

Nope didn't work.

What I am trying to do is keep my emails from outlook on my phone as well using a USB sync. Windows Mobile used to do this and the new Windows Phone does not, neither does iPhone or Andorid. You are forced to use online/server services to do this.

If anyone knows of a way would be good, even if I had to pay for software.

Edit: Nothing...

OK this can no longer be done!

After extensive research and testing I can conclude that there is no way of keeping emails in sync between Outlook and an iPhone/Android/Windows Phone 7 without using a server or cloud based service.

:(

What would you read the emails with on the iPhone/Android device once they've been transferred any way ? Aren't the only apps available just clients for online email.
