Activities for young'ens

Hey all,

Got some family visiting next week and I need to "spec" some activities for us all to do, my niece is coming along, so what do 2 and half year old year girls like to do :confused:

I don't think she'll be interesting in overclocking my rig

so I thought I'd post for suggestions as I don't want her to be bored all the time

Finger painting, playing with water, (if it's hot - paddling pool), erm running around in fields, maybe a good zoo would be fun too!

They like to stick biscuits in the DVD player and some juice in your PC, the little darlings love to draw on your walls, pulling the cats tail. the list is endless have fun.

There's a nice park here with a lake so I think we'll all go there to feed the ducks

If she puts juice in my PC I'll be feeding her to the above mentioned ducks!

I have two daughters, 4 and 7.

2.5 year old girls like to watch cbeebies, finger paint, feed ducks, go to park (baby swings and slide), trampoline. Those indoor play areas usually have a smaller area for toddlers.
Lego (not the small stuff!).
Oh and they will like all the games on the cbeebies website.

Failing all that, take them to a Farm Park (cheaper than zoo's and they get to stroke the animals)

Go for a walk

cbeebies? thats what i do with my little brother and sister that and watch them fight, weirdly my little bro who is just 2 years old always wins against my 6 year old sister.

in all seriousness though.. at young ages the world is a big place and there is a lot to do and see, think back to when you were younger and what you loved take them to a park stuff like that i guess? if its not raining, if there is rain makes "Dens" indoors or something?
