Adaptec AAR-1430SA PCI-Express?

Im looking at this control card at the moment, im just a tad confused, from the image it doesnt look like it would fit into he smaller pcie ports? Is this correct, or am i crazy?

It's a PCIe 4x card so it needs to go in a 4x or 16x slot. It won't fit in the smaller 1x slots.
