So noticed on my old Asus ASUS PB278QV Monitor it has "Adaptive Sync" enabled, and indeed it's mentioned on the Asus website too - https://www.asus.com/uk/displays-desktops/monitors/all-series/pb278qv/
If I want to use it, is that associated with "Adaptive" in the NVideo "Vertical Sync" options? Or is that option nothing to do with the above Adaptive Sync/Freesync of the monitor?
I've looked in the NVidia Control panel can can't see a GSync option. Is that only available if a GSync monitor is detected?
Confused...
ps: Connected from my NVidia 4070 to the monitor over an HDMI.
Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync: It can allow a Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync supported graphics source to dynamically adjust display refresh rate based on typical content frame rates for power efficient, virtually stutter free and low-latency display update.
