Adata Pro SX8200

Just looking at installing this - might be a daft question but is the sticker in the box required?
The mobo holding rod i unscrew to reveal the m.2 slot has a sticker underneath that i presume is heatsync related - is the adata sticker the same?

dont put nayhing came with onto the drive. just plonk the bare silicon on PCB in and be done with it. i put mine on for aethetics. regretting it as it is hard to get rid off it in room temp. might have to heat it up to get the glu soften and take the piece of metal off.
