I've just rebuilt my home server and whilst doing so I thought I'd add an extra harddrive to give me a bit of future proofing.
However it's asking me what method I'd like to use to format it. It offers either GUID or MBR.
Which is the best option? I tried googling but didn't seem to be able to find a straight answer. Some mentioned about MBR not being able to handle drives over 2.2tb. However apparently there's an issue with WHS2011 not being able to handle drives over that size anyway. Anyone know of this might be resolved in the future as it could turn into a problem when newer drives are available.
