Adding a partition to a drive?

Afternoon guys

Now, I wanted to make another partition on my SATA drive. The problem is, I only have one partiton on the drive. C:\. Which I created when I first installed Xp Pro. Now, I want to take about 10Gb off the C:\ partiton so I can install another OS on to that side of the drive.

The basic Windows Setup doesn't do this. So is there any other peice of software I can use to allow me to do this?

Partition magic, would be best, it's a bit pricey though. Although if you know about linux/other free unix's it's possible to do it for free, but experts only really, as there's a chance you'll lose the data.
