Adding a second hard drive?

Hi

I currently have a g skill 128gb ssd installed in my pc but i am slowly running out of room on it so i want to add a second hdd like a Western Digital VelociRaptor so i can but my games and documents on that instead of the ssd.

Is it just a case of installing the hdd and booting the computer up and formating the drive and thats it or is there more to it.

Pretty much so, if I remember correctly:-

1) Install HDD.
2) Boot up PC.
3) Initialise HDD.
4) Format HDD.
