Adding a second IDE HDD for bulk storage etc. Connect it to DVDRW IDE or other HDD?

In other words, shall I connect it as a slave to the DVDRW (on primary IDE) or the C Drive (on secondary IDE)?

Basically don't want to slow things down in transferring data between drives and more importantly not slow down data TX to the burner while burning.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks mate, from what you say, it will have to be on the same IDE channel as the C drive as I will most definately be burning from it.

I have a sata controller but this drive came up at a good price.
