Adding a second monitor to my setup .

Hi,

i have the following monitor MG279Q ROG Dominator 27" 2560x1440 IPS FREESYNC 144Hz
i run freesync between 35 and 90 hz .

I am looking for a second monitor to run in portrait mode does anyone have any advice on what to look for ?
Also having a second monitor with a different resolution and hz would this effect my main screen in anyway ?

sorry i am a little confused at the windowed mode comment , my main monitor will always run at fullscreen , i basically want a second screen so while i am in game i can have steam and discord on the other screen so i don't have to keep tabbing in
and out of game to send steam or discord messages , regarding size i was looking at around 20" but now that you have mentioned 17" i will look into this .
