Thinking of fitting a thermostat to my boiler. The boiler is a Sime Format C.

I found this in the instruction manual

So it looks like it requires a 2 wire thermostat but the one I would like to install is a wireless type. I seen the Siemens RDH10RF which looks pretty good but it requires more than just two wires.

The receiver part which connects to the boiler looks like the picture below

I can get a Live and Neutral from a fused spur without a problem but confused when it comes to connecting the 2 wires from the boiler.

Speak to the manufacturer? I changed my thermostat, albeit wired, and the manufacturer were very helpful.

Might have to resort to that.

Although all it looks like is a simple on off on the boiler terminals and for the relay end of the thermostat is mains power is to control the relay and rf functions and the other is just a switch to control the boiler.

Could be LX and L1 and L2 could be left unconnected but unsure.

Dammit L2! :)
