adding AA + AF from CCC + temporal AA >??

if i set CCC to do the AA for me, and i have AA settings in BF2 will it override the BF2 settings or add to them ?

also, can someone give me a brief explanation of Temporal AA, cheers.

tis my understanding that the drivers have the final word. if you set AA to 2x in the drivers and 6x in the game you should get 2x.

Temporal AA applies AA to different frames. The end result is that you get half the performance hit. 2x normal AA gives the same fps as 4xTAA. FPS needs to be over 60 else the drivers turn it off.

that explains why my game looks crap in places now dont think i will bother with TAA

My limited understanding of TAA was that it improved frame rate for the same level of AA, so why would it need to have an already high frame rate?

Just to back up your incorrection - as it applies AA to different places on different frames, the rate needs to be high enough for your eye not to see the naughty tricks it is playing.
There was (although when i tried to find it - i couldnt) a place to alter the minimum fps that it cuts off at. When I said 60 - i think its actually the frequency of the monitor...
