I have a 5770 Vapour X. Would it be possible to connect another monitor to it using the hdmi out just for watch the TV via WMC.
I am currently connected via on of the DVI outs.
I would like WMC to be maximized on the other screen.
Thank you.

The card has 3 outputs, 2 dvi's and 1 hdmi. I wanted to know if I could connect another screen via the hdmi output and still use the dvi for my current monitor.
The HDMI would be connected to a second monitor purely for TV via Windows media center.

The HDMI connection must be there for a reason! I don't have the card, but I would have thought it would work in the same way as the second DVI output?

yea you can. I do the same. i just use the ATI catylst control centre to duplicate my primary screen(monitor) onto the 2nd screen (hd tv). the screen res then switched to match the optimal res for the tv, but i just manually put it back to optimal for my monitor. dunno if this is the best way but works for me. hope this helps

Thanks for the replies. Was think of getting one of those Benq 24inch LED monitors for my main monitor and then using my current 24incher for a tv.
Cheers.

got one of the benq 24" led tvs and they are gorgeous. for the money you cant beat them. didn't even have to any major setting up of it. just turned down the brightness a bit and its good to go

Dont suppose you could add some pictures could you please. Are they really only 30mm in thickness.

these aren't great but i hope they give u some sort of an idea

one thing to bear in mind is that you only have to look at it for it to get dirty!! lol

well my knowledge on monitors is pretty limited but for the money i dont think you can do much better. i'm well impressed with it. cod mw2 is as sharp as a tack. previously been playing mw2 on xbox360 and 32" hd tv, but this is different class altogether. get it bought you wont be disappointed :D
