The title says it all really.

How do I add borders to my images yet retain the EXIF info.

I normally add borders by either changing the canvas size or going to EDIT-STROKE and adding it that way. Is there a way of adding borders which retains the EXIF info.

And yes I go to File-Save As to save the images.

Well, just did a quick check...

Open image in PS CS2

Added border via Stroke.

Saved via Save As...

EXIF was still there.

You sure the EXIF is present before you add the borders?

Are you doing 'save for web'? I think that loses the EXIF, but if you save just as normal JPEG it doesn't lose it...

Don't actually have PS to check though.

EDIT: D'oh, you already addressed that. Out of ideas then. :(

It was straight from the camera and I only tweaked the levels a bit, i'll check with it now.

EDIT: Just checked and the original image doesn't have EXIF info. It must be stripped when I use the Fuji software to resize the images
