Hi All.
Ive currently got a Matx mobo and case. The motherboard only has 4 sata connections and these are currently all in use, being populated by an optical drive, and ssd for windows and 2x3tb drives.
I have another 2 3 tb drives i would like to possibly add to the system, my case has space for me to mounth them safely so what I would like to know is it possible to add more sata ports to the motherboard by like an add on card?
If thats possible would that hamper the drives performance? Apologies for probably the really stupid question but im desperate to add some more storage to this old system.
