Hi All

One of our local villages is appealing for Lottery funds to add inclusive (disability friendly) ramps / skate facilities to their park. £50k is up for grabs between 5 competing causes. I believe the top 3 get the cash, the others get none.

I've got friends with disabled kids who use the park (and my own kids would love some skate ramps there!) and they, and others, would really benefit from some more facilities locally.

If any of you would like to help with voting, the first link below has the voting page, as well as the competing causes listed at the bottom. there's also a Facebook link I've been given, but I don't use Facebook so can't see what it links to :p

All help is very much appreciated!

Cheers

They'll all benefit - it's inclusive, not disability only. The filming took place on a Monday afternoon a month or so ago - I guess the obviously disabled kids (some of those on the pic are less obviously so) weren't available.

I guess the disabled kids couldn't attend because there was no access...!

Which is kind of the point! :p
