Adding More Ram

Im about to add another 2gb Geil Ram to my system as it was going cheap

the thing is i have been into bios and changed the settings so it ran at its stated speed

If i add another 2 gb ram will it automatically start at the speed set in the bios?

or will i have to change it to auto before i add the ram, and then change it afterwards?

It should be fine.

Tho you may have to change one or two timings after adding the second pair. Four sticks often won't clock as far as two sticks.
