I currently have 2 x 2TB HDD in my Synology DS212+ but I'm running out of space so I need to upgrade to 2 x 3TB HDD. Can I remove a 2TB HDD, replace it with a 3TB HDD, rebuild and then do the same with the second HDD. Or, as I suspect, am I going to have to do a complete rebuild from scratch with both new 3TB HDD installed?
I've done a full backup of my data and I think both options will take some time but just need to choose.
