Adding some LED strips

Most get them from headers on the motherboard as you can control them via software,or a case as I can with my phantek evolv x has build in led with extra cable that can connect to the strips.

Also, any recommendation on which strip to buy. I have a Asus Rog mobo
Depends how many pins the header has.
4 pins will be 12v and just basic RGB, where you can change the colour of the whole strip and have basic patterns like flash/fade/breathe, etc.
3 pins will be 5v Addressable RGB, where you can change the colour of individual LEDs and have all manner of fancy patterns.

Do NOT get the wrong connector, or you risk damaging both the strip and the motherboard.

I quite like the Cablemod kit, as they do strips with both magnets and adhesive, and they have a range that has both standard and UV LEDs on the one strip.
Personally, I use Aquacomputer kit, though, as I prefer kit that isn't dependent on motherboard headers and their Aquasuite software is top notch.

I have both 2 x 4 and 2 x 3 pin headers. One 3 pin is being used for the AIO.

Will have a look at the Cablemod and Aquacomputer kits, thanks

Saw a review of the Phanteks Neon Digital led strip. Whats nice about it is the light is defused. Anyone got experienece of them?
