Additional HD needed...

Hi all,

I'm needing an additional drive to put in my current system:

i7-920 (stock)
Gigabyte UD5
6GB Ram
Samsung F3 1TB
Win7 64

The Sammy F3 seemed to be the de rigueur choice when I got the machine originally, but I'm a bit out of the loop now - what 1TB drive is recommended these days?

Any info appreciated

Might go for that F4 mentioned - would it be as quiet as my current F3?

Sorry for not replying quicker - in the end OC got the F3 back in stock

In terms of connecting the new drive up:

I was just going to connect it to a second hd controller on my board and set it as a single drive....

Would this be the best option? Was thinking that I don't have raid1 setup, but i'm guessing that's really a decision that should have been taken when the machine was built?

Just really wondering about the options before setting anything up

Just thought....

If I set it to be a single 1TB drive... can I partition it to 2 drives in windows or do I need to use the bios?
