additional user accounts on androis phone?

Not sure if this is possible, but say I want to give my friend my phone for a few hours to use app/surf net/whatever, how do I protect private stuff, as email/Facebook/Google play etc. is all pretty much open to be snooped/abused.

Is there a way to share my device but keep my personal data secure? kinda like windows where you have a guest account?

If you have android 4.2 (probably need CM) and don't mind a little faffing you can.

If you've got 4.2 already you should have user accounts somewhere in the settings, CM is CyanogenMod it's a way of getting the latest stock Android on phones that it's not been released for.
What phone are you using?

Just had a quick check, I was wrong it's only available on tablets due to some patent rubbish.

Requires root access though.

OP I don't think this can be done without at least root access on a phone. It does seem to be a pretty obvious thing, but AFAIK not implemented on any phone OS yet as standard?
