How on earth did no one at Adidas pick this up before it went out to thousands of people? I know people say that we get too offended easily, but it is without doubt the most careless choice of words I've ever seen.

Not the best choice of words, but it was the Boston Marathon yesterday. It's not like they're referencing last year's event.

Yeah someone is probably getting fired for that, or knowing advertising/marketing; promoted.

Lordy, (some) people are so easily offended these days!

I remember, many years ago, watching the 10 o'clock news, with Trevor McDonald, and there was some issue with Israel/Palstine/etc.

And with a totally deadpan face (Which McDonald was very good at) He read out from the Autocue about a proposal for....

"A Final solution to the middle east problem"

Imagine the twitterage if that happened today...
