Adidas. Just WOW!

I also agree that people are too easily offended, but this is not acceptable. It's almost poking fun at a tragic terrorist incident which claimed the lives of men, women and children.

One doesn't need to be offended to know something is offensive.

Yeah....one would have to get offended for something to be offensive.

Just FYI, 'one' does not mean the person saying 'one'.

Also this thread is a good example of how pathetic the world is.

So if some woman was walking down the street and a bloke called her a fat !@#$. I could assume you wouldn't be offended as it wasn't directed at you. Yet you can't see how that's offensive?

It's a bit crass but I don't find it offensive or anything. Just a poor choice of words really.

Too many offended people these days.

It's about being offended that someone else might be offended.

You know, the thing social media overloads servers about.

I think it's more a sign of empathy really, most people just don't give a jot unless it affects them directly and truly empathetic people are very hard to find, people like to think they are but most of us aren't, myself included.

Even though I found it amusing I could still see why a family member or friend of someone lost in that attack would find it offensive.

Sure you can connect bombing victim with bad wording and put that together as bad taste.

But with no real connection to it it should be filed under no big deal, mocked or ignored.

I probably shouldn't, but I giggled at that.

I can't help wondering if it's deliberate for the publicity with a veneer of whome? layered over it. It would be pretty cynical but marketing people don't have souls so I wouldn't rule it out.

Pretty funny.

Really?

Congrats, you survived the site of an infamous terrorist attack!
How can that not be offensive?

It does say that, but it's just a poorly worded email rather than something people should be going crazy about. It's not like it was meant to refer to the actual event.

It's an external email. They should be checked before sending.

Yes, but they made a mistake, people are human and it happens. Everyone is too quick to take things personally and get massively offended over what is a genuine mistake.
