Adobe Creative Suite 4

I'm probably going to buy "Adobe Design Premium CS4 Student Edition" for use at Uni and the fact I'll still be able to use the programs once I've left and saved myself about £1200.

My questions:
1. Does anybody have an idea when CS5 is out? Will there be anything major updated?
2. Are there any issues with Photoshop CS4, Dreamweaver CS4, InDesign CS4 etc running on Windows 7 RTM, as I'll most likely be using that in the next few months and I don't want these programs to not work on it!

No problems with Photoshop CS4 running on Windows 7 RTM as far as I can tell. I have it, and it runs fine for me.

Also have photoshop cs4 extended running on Win7 RTM x64 without a hitch.

i used cs4 photoshop, fireworks and flash on win7. everything ok.
i think cs4 has so many cool features that i dont need cs5

for me cs4 package is a complete solution, but we will see what comes with cs5...

If you are intending on using CS4 after you have graduated for professional work this is against the EULA

CS5 should be out in a year/year and a half I guess.

CS4 runs fine on both my Windows 7 machines.

I know you can't use it for commercial use after you've finished.
Glad to hear it runs fine. I'll be buying it on Monday in time for the start of Uni.

Photoshop CS4 is pretty sweet, as it can use your graphics card to process what you are working on ^^

Doesnt quite use it as much as was first made out unfortunately.. Infact the only noticable use i've seen from it in day to day usage is smooth zooming!

Yeah, it only uses GPU for the user interface. Not the actual image processing.
