Adobe Flash Player problems?

When i have google chrome or firefox open in the background when playing a game with a youtube music video playing my game becomes really choppy even though i have like 50-100 odd fps and sometimes it drops to 20. It's only recently started doing this has anybody else experienced it?

I find even when im ONLY watching a youtube video it occasionaly jumps to 30% CPU usage.. mainly when they havnt encoded it to H.264 MP4 mind you, but Flash has always been a hog of Resources. 10.1-10.2 are getting better.
