Adobe Lightroom looses EXIF data on export

Any ideas why it does it? Its really annoying and both export and web export the images loose the EXIF data so my gallery can't read it, nor is it visible in windows viewer.

Any ideas?

Mine exports the EXIF data just fine.

Make sure the 'Minimise Embedded Metadata' box is not ticked in the export dialogue.

im getting this problem too, i cant seem to export as raw it has to be jpeg or whatnot which loses the exif data

You can't export a RAW to a RAW (or jpeg to a raw)

you have to just save your RAW changes to the .xmp sidecar file (per image) which is created by many RAW editors out there. - so yep in that regards you can only export to a standard image format. Only Tif and JPEG support exif embedding too IIRC.

I export as full size 100% quality JPEG without that metadata box ticked!
