ADSL 4meg but tests showing 128kb

Hi guys....

I thought i'd ask on here as BT are hopeless at troubleshooting (i wish i could get cable around here

)

anyway. i'm on 8meg package but can only get 4meg broadband which is fine. However, I've done a few online tests and they come back as 128kbps :confused:

the internet is very slow and wondered what could be causing it.

here are the stats from my wireless router (all PCs are connected through cables though)

ADSL Link Downstream / Upstream
Connection Speed 3968 kbps / 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 5.4 db / 22.0 db
Noise Margin 50.5 db / 26.5 db

Not sure whats going on?

Done the BT test and my results where : 123 kilo bits per second (Kbps) :confused:

Quick update.

Spoke to BT and they recon they are upgrading me to BT MAX and therefore the line is be abit funny because they are testing my avg speed etc etc etc

should be up to 3-4 meg once its finished they say :rolleyes:

I aint too sure but i'm going to wait and see once its done (5-10 days time)

i have the same router!!!!

i'm gonna wait and see.... the net is up to 1meg now
