ADSL AND ADSL2?

What is the difference, as ADSL2 is available at my exchange from the end of the month.

basicly ADSL2 offers greater speeds and an extended reach from 3Km on ADSL to 5.5KM on ADSL2 from the exchange

ADSL's done >6km for years.

The big difference is the top speed is 24Mbps instead of 8Mbps, and there's a bunch of extra features - bonding should be easier (though AFAIK no one does a bonded ADSL2+ service) and there's Seamless Rate Adaption.
