hi i have a advent pc its had a fresh vista install and every thing works great,but i have always had this problem where at boot it likes to display an advent logo ,some times it displays for minutes before it actualy loads ,i have checked the bios and cant find any thing there,the new insall is from a new vista so there should be no hidden advent stuff, the mb is an, ecs p4m900t-m rev 1........cheers for any help

Its unlikely the advent screen is anything to do with the os install tbh
Check your bios settings, its likely to be something in there that's causing the delay. Autodetection or boot device priority?

Unplug all usb devices (inc keyboards and mice) and see if that speeds up the process.
edit - obviously for troubleshooting purposes - if it works, reattach the devices one by one. I've had a faulty USB device cause this problem.
