Hi all,

I wanted to run a scenario by you to understand if its feasible.

Scenario:
I'm looking to purchase two new monitors, most likely the Dell UltraSharp U2419HC with USB-C.
I have two laptops, work and personal.
I'd like to connect them both to the the monitors so I can do both:
  • Use one monitor per laptop
  • Use both monitors per laptop (the other monitor would not display to the monitor in this scenario)
  • Vice versa
Is it possible to to plug Laptop A into Monitor 1 and daisy chain it to Monitor 2 AND plug Laptop B into Monitor 2 and daisy chain it to Monitor 1? See figure below.

Thanks,

Evoss

If both laptops have VGA and/or HDMI/DP or more than one video output you just connect one port to Monitor a and one port to Monitor b depends on laptop.

Yes but if I want to have the option to have Laptop A with dual screen and then switch to dual screen on Laptop B, how can this be done? (Obviously only one laptop can have dual screen at a time)
