Advice - feel I was unfairly failed on a course

It would end up in the Outbox for quite a few reasons. If it did not send then it would be there ;)

I've seen it plenty of times. Age old Shift+Del to get rid of an email stuck in there!

I think you misunderstand the question.
If somebody sends you an email how has it ended up in your Outbox?
The only way is if you reply to it and it doesn't go or if you drag it in there.
In the test the man had been sent an email with an attachment and he'd lost it, it would not end up in the Outbox.

The person receiving it lost the email? If so, that's stupid. I work with some of the most computer-illiterate people ever and I have never once come across someone losing an email they've received in their outbox.

Once again how can a person receiving an email end up having it in their Outbox unless they replied or forwarded and it didn't go yet?

The way you worded it sounded like they had lost an email with an attachment they had sent :P

But yes, it would only ever be in their outbox if they put it there.

"Do a search on some keywords of the Body/Subject in all mail folders, if it does not appear, tough luck"

Job done. However there are many many ways depending on the IT infrastructure you could get it back.

Kinda OT though :D

sounds ridiculous.

also i bloody hate teachers who act like how she wanted you to act. if i wanted my ass kissing id pay for a hooker not for a £550 course

so in short she didnt like you because you dont do drugs and arent fussed wether you eat/drink or not. nice

maybe this itself is a test to see how you react , socially .

a: approach her with what you said to us in a reasonable manner and to the point = PASS

b: blow her head off and others with a shotgun = FAIL

She sounds like a nutter to me.

If she is the one who shouts at you to move some salt it's clearly not you with social problems.

Complain.

Being a good teacher boils down to being able to communicate and convey a point well. You don't need to be liked. I really like a couple of my lecturers but they are adismal at teaching me maths, whereas I can't stand some others but accept that they are extremely good lecturers. Liking them is neither here nor there.

From how you've described it then it doesn't sound as if the instructor has been reasonable - however sometimes you've got to consider what result you are hoping for and whether complaining is likely to achieve it. You may do more damage to your cause in the long term even if you manage to win the instant battle.

I'd be ****** too if they failed me after spending £700 for 'social reasons'

Its obvious from what you've said, you two ( the OP and the examiner) have obviously had a bit of a personality clash.

She has blatently decided she doesnt like you, and your not doing much by the sounds of your reaction to make her warm to you.

Agreed that her personal dislike for you shouldnt come into it any sort of exam for this sort of thing. Was all this in writing for you to show her superiors ?

I've no idea what powers she has etc.. but id certainly enquire about appealing.
