The person receiving it lost the email? If so, that's stupid. I work with some of the most computer-illiterate people ever and I have never once come across someone losing an email they've received in their outbox.

It would end up in the Outbox for quite a few reasons. If it did not send then it would be there
I've seen it plenty of times. Age old Shift+Del to get rid of an email stuck in there!

Once again how can a person receiving an email end up having it in their Outbox unless they replied or forwarded and it didn't go yet?
You could look at it in a positive light. You did indeed learn a very valuable lesson. Never **** off your instructor if they are also the ones that are grading you.![]()
A skipper that doesn't drink tea? You have no place being on a boat![]()
I'd be ****** too if they failed me after spending £700 for 'social reasons'
Hope you got the 'reasons' in writing.
I'd be taking it up with the company / higher authority!
