My m8 just got a pc athlon 64 1 gb ram 320 hd nvidia 6800gs graphics card I know he needs more ram so 2 gb min there he is on limited buget doesn't run at huge resulutions as he runs pc through widescreen tv. What gfx card would you recommend would a 5750 be ok ? He want to be able to play bfbc2 reasonable well?

unless thats an athlon 64 x2 i dont think your gonna get it to play well at all
a 5750 would be a quick enough graphics card to play it with the right processor though
