Advice needed - after new point and click

I'm after replacing our point and click Canon SD500 (US version of Ixus I believe) as we've had it for a good 6+ years and is a little dated on features now.

Aside from good quality pictures, our main need is to be able to do widescreen 16:9 video (preferably HD but not too fussy).

I quite like Canon but would consider any brand.

Budget around £300.

Been doing some researching in this sort of market for the past couple of weeks. Ended up with the canon sx220 - check it out, low noise, manual controls, 14 x optical zoom, hd video. No RAW though :mad:

Canon S95 if you don't particularly need a huge zoom range?
