Hi all, i'm having some problems with my neighbors who recently moved back.

Our houses are separated by a shared drive leading to the garage where I keep my motorbikes. I generally use them on weekends, but haven't been able to ride them recently due to other commitments.

However, about 2 weeks ago, the neighbors(owners of the house) moved back and decided to tidy up. I came home to find my driveway full of old furniture, fridges, chairs etc.

I told them the drive way was in use and they said they'll try to move it soon, and kind of cleared a path from my garage so that I could ride my bike out.

However, this meant I had to reverse my bike in since with all the junk there, I couldn't turn my bikes around. I decided not to ride until they cleared.

About a week ago, the junk was cleared but they left the fridge and 2 car wheels with tyres. There was broken glass littered across the drive too. Atleast they were clearing up.

However, yesterday I returned to find they moved the fridge, BUT!!!!!!.

there was a bunch of food inside which the movers just dumped inbetween the 2 garages. It must have been in the fridge when they threw the fridge out but omg, I couldn't breathe near it as there was rotten food, meat, takeaway etc.

I immediately went over and told my neighbors about it and they said oh, they'll look at it. As of this morning its still there and its only going to get worse with the heat. Mosquitos, flys, maybe even larva.

I need advice as to what I can do? Sure, if I go home and its sorted, then great, but this is seriously a health hazard... Is there any one i can contact who can clear this up? Maybe the council?

Thanks in advance.

Get a black bag and clear it up then have stern words with your neighbours that you shouldn't have to clear up their mess.

Do it yourself, get it all in to some black refuse sacks and then just hurl it into their garden. They will probably get the message.

**** em up!

/thread.

edit: or........
try and gauge it so that you attempt to clean it up when they are outside, then start the discussion about how it really is a health risk and unacceptable to leave it there. That should embarass them into sorting it out....if they are half decent people.

Failing that......... **** em up!

Seriously though, not saying I haven't thought about the letterbox or throwing into their garden, but that is not an option so far.

Problem is, its all squishy and running due to the rain and i am choking when i went to inspect it yesterday.

I think black sacking and giving it to them is probably the good solution..

Provided that I stay alive long enough to picking everything up...

Won't a council be of help?

It's only rotten food, you wont die lol, you'll just gag a lot and throw up, the key is to breathe through your mouth and not your nose, but that usually ranks me out cuz it's like im eating the smell lol.

Rekon you should tell them to move it tonight or get a shovel and just dump it in their front garden along with all the other stuff.

Personally I'd just leave it and call my local council, see about a health inspector maybe? Or at the very least explain the situation that it was your neighbours and say its attracting rats and other vermin which it probably is anyway...

Council should be out faster than the road runner and I wouldnt be suprised if your grotty neighbours got the bill...

*Meep meep*
