advice needed - presenting data

Hi all,

I need to create a information system similar to a wiki/html help file that will sit on a central file server and allow people to read info on lots of different topics.

I need it to be on a file server so I only have to update the one file.

And using a wiki program is out because it is just a file server with no SQL/webserver systems etc.

HTML help would be ideal, but as far as I am aware you can't host it in a server...

Any suggestions?

Strict IT rules, no one here even has admin rights to a PC and it's pathetic.

I am sure I read that a CHM file couldn't be used by several people at the same time on a windows server

I'll go off and do a bit more research on it.
